Producing music, sound design, djing, graphic design, photography, video art. I practice and freelance doing these things. 
 
What/who got you interested in electronics?
In high school I started listening to Richard D. James (Aphex Twin) and I had heard he built his own synths. I was also inspired by Casper Electronics circuit bending projects. 
 
If you could have any physicist/engineer (living or dead) as a teacher who would it be?
Nikola Tesla & Ray Kurzweil 
 
What is your favorite hack or modification that you've ever done? 
Modified my Roland TR-606 to have various control over the drum synthesis and individual outs. 
 
How have you modified your Werkstatt?
1/8th in jack breakouts for all of the CV I/O and Audio path
Replaced waveform selection switch on the oscillator with a potentiometer for waveshaping between pulse and saw. 
Discovered that the chip used for the VCA has a square wave oscillator pin out. We added a pot to tune it, an audio out, and a cv control in. 
 
What learning opportunities do you see being possible with Werkstatt?
Synthesis, circuit layout, component identification, soldering, microprocessor application (arduino), basic mods.
